A strange looking model that apparently did have a brief moment on screen during the Wolf 359 destruction, this was a contender for the Excelsior used in Star Trek 3. Happily it wasn’t used though and instead we got a ship with ample nacelles and a thicc undercarriage. This magazine has a 6 page interview from 2002 with Leonard Nimoy, director of Star Trek 3
