Myconfinedspace.com has added a new review for J.M. Dillard and John Eaves‘s “Star Trek: The Next Generation: Sketchbook: The Movies, Generations & First Contact”:
I was expecting just another art book, but this turned out to be a massive tomb of behind the scenes stories, concept art, and storyboarding. The best part of this book is that it’s a large format book and the photos inside of the ship miniatures are in extreme high resolution. One of the main draw back though was that instead of using just a single page for each image, they shot for the stars and did a double page spread that unfortunately didn’t work very well due to how the book is bound, leading to some unfortunate situations where the center focus of the photo was lost to the page split:
