Two years after Marvel’s Star Trek: Voyager series ended, WildStorm Comics took up the reins to chart the adventures of Captain Kathryn Janeway and the USS Voyager, as the Starfleet and Maquis officers made their way across the Delta Quadrant. Presented here are three one-shots—Nathan Archer’s False Colors, Elite Force by Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning, and Avalon Rising from Janine Ellen and Doselle Young—as well as the Planet Killer miniseries by Kristine Kathryn Rusch and Dean Wesley Smith.

In False Colors, the crew encounters an alien vessel that appears Borg in nature, and Seven of Nine must face past demons to free her shipmates. The Borg and other aliens menace the crew in Elite Force when the starship becomes trapped in a Sargasso Sea of space (a common Trek trope), and Tuvok chooses a hazard team to reclaim stolen property from a Borg cube. Then, in Avalon Rising, the holographic Doctor meets a civilization similar to those in Arthurian legends—while Planet Killer, as the title implies, revisits “The Doomsday Machine,” a classic episode from the 1960s.
