The Maquis abduct Julian Bashir to help with a covert mission, but the Cardassians are one step ahead of them. Deep Space Nine introduced Julian Bashir, a young physician who was skilled but a bit naïve. Malibu Comics’ The Maquis, Soldier of Peace taught the good doctor some much-needed wisdom when he found himself a prisoner of the terrorist group.

Bashir would also feature heavily in IDW’s Star Trek Special: Flesh and Stone. This one-shot teamed up Julian with Doctors McCoy, Crusher, Pulaski, and Phlox, as well as the medical hologram known as the Doctor.
