The Vahklas was a civilian transport ship commanded by Tavin, the leader of its crew of V’tosh ka’tur. The vessel was capable of visual communication. It helped the Enterprise NX-01 quickly gather data while studying the Arachnid nebula. The ship is featured in the episode ‘Fusion’.
