The Antares NCC-501 was a multi-purpose starship that was in service with Starfleet in the 2260s commanded by Captain Ramart. In 2266, the Antares rendezvoused with the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 in order to pick up the 17-year-old Charlie Evans and take him to Earth Colony Alpha V, as told in the original series episode ‘Charlie X’.
