ASSIGNMENT EARTH WAS the second season finale of STAR TREK’s original series. The story was meant to launch a spinoff series, but it never got on TV.

Decades after the debut that never came, John Byrne took up the mantle and continued the adventures of agent Gary Seven and his companion, Roberta Lincoln. The duo tries to save the future of STAR TREK on Earth, but they have to do it without anyone noticing. The bold time-travelling adventure takes them back to the main historical events of the 1960s and 1970s.

With John Byrne’s writing and artwork, the series that should have continued the 1968 TV episode finally continues.
